FAQ

Welcome!

My name is Nastya.

I am a designer (and a tailor, SMM manager, stylist, video editor, pattern maker, and many other roles) as well as the head of the Wedding dresses by Nastya Anikina.

I have been sewing wedding dresses since 2014. I once ran a small atelier where I met with brides to create custom-made dresses for them.

I love naturalness, subtle details, elegant lace, neat guipure patterns, the matte sheen of satin, and the delicate shades of tulle and chiffon. To me, a bride is an ethereal, tender being who values beauty and comfort, knows her desires, and plans everything down to the smallest details.

In 2021, I launched my first collection of modular wedding dresses. What does that mean? It’s simple: each dress consisted of several parts, such as a base dress made of dense satin with straps and an overlay dress made of airy tulle, chiffon, or organza, worn over the base dress. For more intimate ceremonies, I offered options like a satin base dress paired with a cape. This approach allowed brides to transform their look throughout their wedding day. Some chose both the base and overlay dresses for the formal ceremony, then switched to the base dress with a cape for the reception.

I am particularly drawn to this concept for its eco-friendly approach to wedding attire. Many brides later shortened the base dress to a midi or even mini length, making it suitable for other events or as a stylish option to take on a seaside vacation. I continue to develop this idea but have expanded it to include minimalist designs as well as corset dresses with floral lace embellishments and corset sets made of satin and taffeta for more dramatic looks.
